ENGLISH READING CLUB WITH SUSAN BAKER

07 de maig de 2014 - 19:00 On May 7th we will initiate a new cycle of the English Reading Club. This will begin with short stories and essays. Later the group can choose a book to read and discuss over several sessions. The sessions will give an opportunity to share the pleasures of reading and speaking English in a relaxed setting. Susan Baker is a doctorate in psychology and has extensive experience leading groups and teaching English as a second language. Other interests include kung fu, gardening, painting, cooking and – of course, reading. The first selection is an adaptation of a short story by Sarah Orne Jewett, ‘The White Heron’.
